Finishing of Main Breakwater construction (Haifa Terminal Port Project)
At the 03.11.2018 finally has been completed 882 meters Main Breakwater (Haifa Terminal Port Project).
Started from Juny 2015, it took approximately 2 years to finish all the structure.
Has been placed:
1,100,000 – E type rock (0-1000kg)
290,000 – D type rock (1-3t)
17,440 – C type rock (3-6t)
16,049 – 4 m^3 concrete units
14,551 – 7 m^3 concrete units
1,378 – 12 m^3 concrete units.

First Take Over Milestone 2.5 months before the original planning !!!
Hamifratz Port Project at Haifa, Israel
A great effort by all parties brought us to Complete the first Take Over Milestone 2.5 months before the original planning. What an achievement! A good reason to drink a toast and celebrate…
This first stage includes 273,000 sqm that were reclaimed and treated by means of deep compaction (Vibro Floatation and Vibro Floatation with stone columns) and surface compaction.

Closing the East Breakwater in Haifa Terminal Port Project
At the 03.03.2018 finally has been closed 2150 meter of East Breakwater core in Haifa Terminal Port Project. Started from 01st of June 2015, it took 1006 days to close the core layer of the East Breakwater. And up to now for it construction has been used around 2200000 tons of rock and 47500 cubes of concrete.
At the 6th of Mars 2018, the Contractor fully covered the inner side of the structure by Geo-textile, which prevent the Reclamation’s sand to wash out through the breakwater, and thus to avoid collapses along the neighboring portion of the Reclamation area.

Minister of transport visiting to the Haifa Terminal Port Project.
At the 20.02.2018 the Israel Minister of Transport, Israel Katz, visited new Terminal Port Project in Haifa. During his visit, in honor of the country’s 70th anniversary, has been installed the heaviest flag in the world. A state flag has been drawn on the 20-ton concrete cube and has been installed on the Main Breakwater structure, that protecting Haifa Harbor from the waves.
